AS9100 Quality System, Brigham passes Tough Scrutiny

HT Brigham & Company is proud to announce that its AS9100 Quality System has taken the first steps toward Certification with AS9100:2018. Following, passing the Stage 1 audit, they now look forward to their Stage 2 audit in May 2023.

AS9100 is an international standard that specifies the requirements for quality management systems in the aerospace industry. It is based on the ISO 9001 quality management system standard. It also includes additional requirements specific to the aerospace industry. These include product safety, configuration management, and counterfeit part prevention.

Successful completion of the Stage 1 audit is a significant milestone in Brigham’s ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality products and services to their customers. It will open opportunities to serve the aerospace, defence, and space sectors.

The audit included a review of the Brigham Operating System, which provides the framework for their processes. Moreover, ensuring those processes comply with the requirements of the AS9100 standard.

Compliance Director, Anna Lavender-Moore, who previously worked for aerospace giants, Goodrich, Collins and Moog said, “We are now eagerly anticipating our Stage 2 audit in May 2023. Stage 2 will involve a more detailed assessment of our quality management system and processes. This is designed to ensure we are fully compliant with the requirements of the AS9100 standard. Moreover, we are confident that our team\’s hard work and dedication will enable us to successfully achieve Aerospace Quality Certification.”

CEO, Doug Allen, also a veteran of the aerospace industry said, “This achievement would not have been possible without teamwork and commitment across our organisation.
